What is CBG?

CBG stands for Cannabigerol and is one of over 120% different cannabinoids found in Cannabis Sativa. It is often said that CBG is the mother of all cannabinoids. In the life of the hemp plant, there is almost only CBGa (cannabigerolic acid). Over time, this acid is converted to cannabinoids, including CBD, CBN, CBD, THC and only a small amount of CBG remains in the plant. Today, there are hemp varieties, such as Matterhorn and Santhica, which contain high levels of CBG. In the hemp varieties where CBG is dominant, there are very few other cannabinoids.

Why a CBG + CBD oil?

Like CBD, CBG is not psychotropic. CBG should not be considered as something that will replace CBD, but instead should be considered as something that interacts with CBD.
