What is CBD Oil & Hemp Oil?

CBD oil is a natural product that has a very long history. Although somewhat rediscovered, the use of cannabinoids has ancient origins. But what is CBD oil?

Recently, there has been a great deal of interest in CBD products. Largely due to both anecdotal and research findings that CBD and CBG have an incredibly large number of benefits. Many are convinced that CBD oil has a given place in everyday life. The fact that it can, for example, be applied directly to the skin means that it has many and multifaceted uses.

CBD is one of over 100 chemical substances called cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are found in hemp and cannabis plants.

CBD is extracted from the cannabis plant and then diluted in an oil such as MCT oil, olive oil or hemp seed oil.

There are oils with THC in them, but these are currently illegal in Sweden.

There are many methods to extract cannabinoids such as CO2 and alcohol extraction. The extraction involves removing any toxins, chlorophyll and wax.

What does CBD stand for?

CBD stands for cannabidiol and is a substance from Cannabis Sativa. The products you find with us come from EU-approved and organic hemp.

Does hemp seed oil contain CBD?

No. Hemp seed oil contains beneficial fats such as omega-3 and omega-6, however, it does not contain any cannabinoids as the oil is extracted from hemp seeds.

Hemp seed oil can be bought in a regular grocery store, while CBD oils can only be bought online.

What is important to consider when buying CBD oil?

The content of an oil is A and O, so first of all check which ingredients are in the oil. Among the most important things to look at is whether the oil is made with pure organic ingredients. Point number two to look at is the oil used as a carrier, for example an MCT oil is better than an olive oil.

It is also important to buy from companies that offer a lab report done by a third-party company. These reports must show how much CBD there is in the product and whether it is THC-free, remember that all oils with traces of THC are illegal in Sweden.

Which oil is best for me?

When deciding to buy CBD oil and trying to figure out what strength is right for you, it’s best to start small and gradually increase your dose until you reach the desired results. You may not even need a 20% oil but can instead use less potent.

What are CBD isolates and CBG isolates?

Our CBD and CBG isolates are crystal-like powders that contain pure CBD. Unlike full- and broad-spectrum products, the isolates contain no traces of THC whatsoever.

To produce CBD and CBG isolates, manufacturers use different processes to extract all the compounds and other substances from the cannabis plant, including THC. The result is pure CBG and CBD in crystal form.

A CBD isolate has no distinct smell or taste and dissolves easily in a carrier liquid.

What is hemp extract?

A hemp extract is a concentrated cannabis extract that has a waxy consistency. It is very powerful and contains large amounts of cannabinoids and other beneficial substances, such as terpenes and flavonoids that are naturally found in Cannabis Sativa.
