Vaporizers for herbs & concentrates

Vaporizers are used by people who want to avoid combustion and instead get a smoother, more controlled experience. When the material is heated to the right temperature, aromas and active compounds are released as vapor rather than smoke. This reduces unwanted by-products, leaves less odor and gives a clearer sense of how temperature affects flavor and effect.

Here you’ll find vaporizers for both herbs and concentrates. The models in our selection are easy to use, deliver steady heating and make it simple to maintain a consistent session, regardless of the type of device you prefer.

The basics

What is a vaporizer?

A vaporizer heats herbs or concentrates to the temperature where aromas and active compounds are released as vapour, without the material burning. That is the whole difference from smoking: no combustion, no smoke, no ash. You inhale vapour, not combustion by-products.

Because nothing burns away, the flavour comes through more clearly and the same amount of material lasts longer. The smell is also considerably weaker and disappears within minutes, rather than settling into clothes and furniture.

Temperature shapes the experience. Around 180 °C gives the most flavour and a thin vapour; up towards 210 °C gives denser vapour and a stronger effect. Most models let you choose, either in preset steps or degree by degree.

The differences between the models come down mostly to how they heat the material and where they are meant to be used. Convection gives cleaner flavour and a smoother draw, conduction gives a faster start and denser vapour. Hybrid does a little of both.

Three ways to heat

What separates the models most

01

Convection

Hot air passes through the material without it touching the heating element. The cleanest flavour and smoothest draw, but it takes a few seconds longer to get going.

02

Conduction

The material sits directly against a heated surface. Quick to start and denser vapour, but it needs stirring for an even result.

03

Hybrid

Combines both: the chamber is heated while air is drawn through the material. Short heat-up time with good flavour, and the most common approach today.

Frequently asked questions

Six common questions about vaporizers

What is the difference between vaping and smoking?

When vaping, the material is heated below the point of combustion, producing vapor without burning anything. This means no smoke and no ash, while the flavor is more distinct because less of the material is burned away.

Most people start at around 180°C and work their way up. Lower temperatures provide more flavor and lighter vapor, while higher temperatures produce denser vapor but deplete the material more quickly. Some models allow precise temperature adjustment, while others offer three or four preset settings.

Some models are suitable for both, often with a separate insert for concentrates. Dedicated concentrate vaporizers, however, are designed specifically for concentrates and do not work as well with dry herbs. The “Material” column in the table shows what each model is intended for.

The chamber can usually handle around ten to fifteen sessions before the flavor begins to fade. Simply rinse the mouthpiece and screens in isopropyl alcohol and allow them to dry. Convection vaporizers generally require less maintenance than conduction models.

Basic portable models cost less than 100€, while devices with precise temperature control and longer battery life are more expensive. You should also budget for accessories such as replacement screens, cleaning solution, and a grinder.
Dry herb vaporizers are made for plant material such as our CBD flowers. Models marked “Both” in the table above also take concentrates, like CBD hash, usually with a small insert or pad that comes in the box. Do not use oils or liquids in a dry herb device, they are made for a different type of vaporizer.
