Origin of the name
The name Purple Wookie got its name when the terpene profile tries to imitate the original. The original is an indica cross between Road Kill Unicorn F2 and Wookie # 15.
Purple Wookie has an exciting terpene profile where trans-nerolidol, Caryophyllene, Myrcene and Pinene are the dominant terpenes.
A little about the different terpenes:
This terpene is found mainly in flowers such as jasmine and lemongrass. Trans-nerolidol has a woody, fruity citrus aroma reminiscent of citrus, apples and flowers.
Caryophyllene is found in many herbs, you will find this terpene in black pepper, cinnamon, cloves and many different spices. Caryophyllene is best known for its spicy and peppery tones.
Myrcene is the most common terpene in cannabis and it is precisely this terpene that gives cannabis its earthy aroma.
The scent is reminiscent of cloves with earthy and musky tones.
Pinene is found in rosemary, orange peel, basil, parsley and pine, among other things. The pines have a fresh earthy scent that is reminiscent of pine forest.
