Does the G3 need a battery or charging?

No. The G3 is entirely battery-free and is heated externally with a torch. That means it is always ready, never needs charging and has no electronics that can fail. A Clipper jet torch is included in the box.

What does the click mean?

The click is the G3’s temperature indicator. Heat the cap with the torch for roughly five to seven seconds, and when you hear the click the right temperature has been reached and you can inhale. A second click means the cap has cooled and can be reheated. You need neither a display nor a timer, the sound does the whole job.

Can I use an ordinary lighter?

No, an ordinary soft-flame lighter does not produce enough heat and will also leave soot on the cap. A jet torch is required, and one is included in the box. The torch is refilled with standard butane gas when it runs out.

Can the glass withstand torch heat?

Yes. The entire UniBody section is borosilicate glass, which is made to withstand direct heat and rapid temperature changes. Induction heaters are not recommended for the glass model, however, and the unit will of course not survive being dropped on the floor the way DynaVap’s titanium models do.

How much does the chamber hold?

Approximately 0.05 grams, which is small compared with battery-powered vaporizers. That is deliberate and makes the G3 suited to microdosing and small loads rather than long sessions. If you want a larger chamber and a session timer, our battery-powered models are a better choice.

How do I clean the G3?

Separate the two parts and soak the glass section in isopropyl alcohol when it becomes discoloured, then rinse with warm water and let it dry completely. The glass is transparent, so you can see for yourself when it is time. The cap is wiped clean separately.
