There aren’t many festivals in Scandinavia that put hemp culture front and center alongside live music and a proper weekend atmosphere. Hampafestivalen is one of them – and we’re going.

What Hampafestivalen Is
Hampafestivalen is a new festival built around the idea that hemp culture deserves a proper stage. The program mixes live music, dance, lectures, workshops, standup, and street food across two days. It’s not just a concert – the educational side is built into the event, with talks and sessions focused on hemp, CBD, and where the industry is heading.
The location helps too. Törringelund sits surrounded by the kind of open Skåne landscape that makes spending a weekend outdoors feel like a reasonable plan. It’s close to one of the region’s nature reserves, and the venue itself has been a gathering spot in the area for years.
Friday is the more focused day – opening, lectures, and workshops for people who want to dig into the knowledge side of things. Saturday is when the festival opens up properly, with a full lineup of live acts.
The Lineup
Saturday’s headliners include General Knas, Million Stylez, and Eek-A-Mouse – names that will mean something to anyone who’s followed reggae and Swedish hip-hop over the years. It’s a solid lineup for a first-edition festival, and the kind of bill that suggests the organizers are serious about what they’re building.
Friday’s program is lighter on music and heavier on content, which makes it worth showing up for if you’re interested in the hemp side of things as much as the entertainment.
